2013 Annual Meeting Minutes

Neighborhood meeting 5.7.13

Call to order 7:03 by Rod Robison
14 members of association, including 4 officers- quorum met
Introduction of officer holders

Minutes approved by voice acclimation, Barbara Wyatt move, Terri Anderson second.

Guest Speaker: Brandon Renaud from City of Columbia, Water and Light presentation on energy efficiency.  Customer service through improving energy efficiency. 

David Mars 874-7325: free energy audit including tree power and load management discount.

City Report from Barbara Hoppe- trail expansion projects

Chairman's report- CrossCreek update

Neighborhood Picnic on August 17th- Terri Anderson, maybe Rieanne Brinkman too (because they plan such great picnics!) bring a dish to share to Shepard Park 

Neighborhood Garage Sale on June 15th- Susie Robison will coordinate, let her know if you want to help out or plan to have a sale.  She will ensure directional signage if you let her know where you are having your sale.

Susie Robison moved, Barbara Wyatt seconded to adopt the park on Old Highway 63.

Treasurers Report: $681.08 in the Landmark Bank account. Neighborhood dues collected in the amount of $5 

Proposal to approach City Council to rename park at intersection of Old Highway 63 and Shepard Boulevard the Sterling Wyatt Memorial Park.  John Prenger move, Maureen Kotlas second.  Pending approval of the Wyatt family.

Concern over upkeep of median.  City will not and does not maintain, the generosity of neighbors keeps this green space looking good. How can the neighborhood help? Financially, this is not a possibility with our current financial situation.

Concern regarding right turn onto Stadium from Audubon.  Right turns don't trigger the light.  Contact MODoT and contact Barbara Hoppe.
