Annual SBNA Meeting March 10, 2015

Please mark your calendar to attend the annual Shepard Boulevard Neighborhood Association Meeting beginning at 7 pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Unitarian Universalist Church - across from Shepard Blvd. Elementary School.  SBNA President John Prenger will prepare an agenda before the meeting, which we'll post on this blog beforehand. If you have any meeting agenda items you'd like to discuss, please contact John prengerclan@gmail.com before the meeting. Ward 6, which includes our neighborhood, will be voting for a new council representative on April 7 and we are inviting all of the registered candidates to attend our annual meeting. We'd like to give neighbors a chance to meet and visit with the candidates who are running to fill the seat that is being vacated by Barbara Hoppe. Ms. Hoppe will also be attending our meeting to give us a brief update on city issues involving our neighborhood.

We'll also set the date for the neighborhood garage sale and summer picnic at our upcoming meeting.  If you have new neighbors, please let them know about the meeting, as we may not have their email address.

Hope to see you in March!

Several of us from the neighborhood have participated in this program.  I thought I knew a lot about our city and how to make things happen or to get something done.  Well, this program was so informative - there was a lot I did not know! I think every citizen should attend this!
