We need better bandwidth for
our neighborhood!
If you are a Centurytel
customer, please push the company for more bandwidth for our
neighborhood. Unfortunately, we cannot get some of the services that the
company markets ad nauseam (such as Prism TV and some on-demand video features)
because our neighborhood speed is too slow. When asked about it, the
company says, “So sorry, but you are at the end of the line.” Also,
those of us who do much of our work from home desperately need the capability.
For instance, my students produce videos for one of their assignments, and I
can’t view them at home because they take way too long to load.
